Mumbai: Actress Jennifer Winget has shared previously unseen pictures from her recent haldi ceremony on the occasion of Friendship Day.
Taking to Instagram, she posted a video compilation of images from the celebration and accompanied it with a note of gratitude towards her friends. “My haldi wasn’t just a celebration... it was a room full of love. Every time I look at these pictures, I notice something new.. a smile, a hug, someone cheering us on, someone making sure everything was perfect. I know people often say they’re lucky to have great friends, but I am the luckiest ever!!!! I must’ve done something really right in life to have earned each one of you,” she wrote.
Winget thanked her friends for planning the day, for their support, and for the moments of laughter that marked the occasion. “Thank you for planning this day, for loving me so fiercely, for making me laugh until my cheeks hurt, and for reminding me that life’s greatest gifts are the people who stand beside you through it all. Happy Friendship Day to my favourite humans. You are, and always will be, one of the greatest blessings of my life,” she added.
The actress recently married businessman William Ishmael. The couple had kept their relationship private for several months before making it public.
Winget was earlier married to actor Karan Singh Grover. The two wed on April 9, 2012, after meeting on the sets of a television show; the marriage ended in divorce in 2014. She has generally preferred to keep her personal life away from the spotlight and has focused on her professional commitments.
Over the years, consistent performances and versatility have established her as one of the more respected faces on Indian television. By sharing the intimate glimpses from her haldi ceremony, Winget highlighted the role of close friendships in marking an important personal milestone, using Friendship Day as an occasion to publicly acknowledge those who stood with her.
