Birthday posts on social media are often short. Athiya Shetty's birthday on Thursday was different: three of the most important men in her life, her brother, her husband and her father, each posted a long, personal note for her.

Ahan Shetty's message was the most emotional of the three. In his Instagram post, the 'Tadap' actor did more than wish her well. He thanked his sister for being with him during the hardest parts of his life.

"Happy Birthday, Athiya! Some bonds are beyond words, and you are truly one of the biggest blessings in my life. Through every phase, every struggle, and all the moments when life felt difficult, you've always been there for me, standing by me and making sure I never felt alone," he wrote.

He went on to say that she may not know how much she has helped him: "I don't think you realise how much your love and support mean to me or how many times you've been my strength without even knowing it. I'm so grateful that I have you to lean on, laugh with, and count on, no matter what. I wish you all the happiness in the world because if anyone deserves it, it's you. Love you always."

The photos he shared fit the message. In one, Athiya takes a selfie of the two of them in a lift. Another shows her tying a rakhi on Ahan's wrist. An older childhood picture shows a young Athiya smiling at the camera while little Ahan sits on a couch.

Rahul and Suniel add their own notes

KL Rahul kept his message short and romantic. "Happy birthday wifey You fill my heart with love and my life with meaning. You're my biggest blessing. Love you @athiyashetty," the Indian cricketer wrote. He posted a photo of the couple looking into each other's eyes, with Athiya sitting on his lap, along with a few solo pictures of her.

The couple married in an intimate ceremony in January 2023 at Suniel Shetty's farmhouse in Khandala, Maharashtra.

Suniel Shetty wrote as a father who still sees his daughter as a child. The 'Hera Pheri' actor posted two childhood pictures and wrote, "No matter how old you get, a part of me will always see that little girl I could never say no to. And now watching you build your own little world, I realise some things never change…Happy birthday my baby. Love you more than I could ever put into words. @athiyashetty."

Why the post stood out

Bollywood siblings usually post short, jokey wishes for each other. Ahan's note was unusually open about his own struggles and how much he relied on his sister. Together, the three posts gave fans a rare look at the Shetty family, which usually keeps a low profile despite its film and cricket connections. The common theme was simple: Athiya has been a steady source of support for each of them.
