BIA'S Kitchen Show: How Bia Rodrigues-Perry Turned Food Into a Media Business
Bia Rodrigues-Perry has built BIA'S Kitchen Show from a lockdown takeaway into a UK media platform spanning food, menopause, wellbeing and entrepreneurship.
Bia Rodrigues-Perry runs a media platform out of what began as a lockdown food business. The Brazilian-born presenter, producer and marketing strategist, now settled in Warwickshire, has built BIA'S Kitchen Show into a show that treats food as the starting point for wider conversations — culture, wellbeing, business, and the people behind each story.
Before any of that, she had a marketing career in Brazil, working with well-known international brands. Her edge was communication: she knew how people talk, and she knew how to make companies sound like they were talking to someone rather than at them. Moving to the UK after meeting her husband wiped the slate. No contacts, no reputation, a culture she had to figure out from the inside. "I had to adapt to a new culture, build a new network and prove myself all over again," she says.
