Zaigham Imam Unveils First Look of 'The Narmada Story' on Women's Day

The film features a formidable ensemble cast led by Ashwini Kalsekar, Simala Prasad and National Award-winning actor Anjali Patil, along with veteran performers Zarina Wahab, Raghubir Yadav and Mukesh Tiwari in pivotal roles. The makers say the film will spotlight strong female characters and their fight for dignity and justice.

The Narmada Story follows the gripping journey of a tribal mother who refuses to bow down when powerful criminals threaten her daughter. Instead of succumbing to fear, she rises with fierce determination to protect her child and challenge the oppressive forces around her. Her struggle gains momentum when a newly appointed woman Sub-Inspector joins hands with her, choosing integrity over silence and daring to confront corruption embedded within the system.

Together, the two women become symbols of resistance, taking on criminals who believe their power places them above the law. Through their fight, the film sheds light on the realities faced by tribal women while celebrating their strength, courage, and resilience.

The film is produced by AB Infosoft Creation with Golden Ratio Films as co-producer. The story is written by Zaigham Imam, while the screenplay and dialogues are penned by Akash Tak, Pankaj Kaurav, and Imam himself. The music for the film is composed by Manik Batra. Arshad Jafri is the creative producer of the film.

With its strong girl-power theme and a narrative inspired by real struggles, The Narmada Story aims to deliver a gripping cinematic experience while shining light on the courage of women who refuse to remain silent. The film is expected to hit theatres this summer.
