Bharti Singh, Haarsh Wish Amitabh Bachchan Ahead of 84th Birthday

“I have been watching the show since its very first episode, and even today, just seeing his smile, warmth, and energy brings so much happiness. He has given generations so many beautiful memories, and I feel so lucky to have grown up watching him.”

“A True Institution”

Haarsh praised Big B’s consistency and connection with viewers. “Amitabh Bachchan Sir is a true institution, and watching him on Kaun Banega Crorepati with so much grace, energy, and charm is pure inspiration for writers like us,” he said.

“To pull off that level of perfection and connect so effortlessly across generations, from our parents to our generation, is just unbelievable.”

Why It Matters: A Show That Grew Up With Its Viewers

Bharti’s line about watching since the first episode captures KBC’s unique place in Indian television. The show first aired in 2000, and Amitabh Bachchan has hosted nearly every season since, making it one of the longest-running and most loved quiz shows in the country. A whole generation, like Bharti, grew up watching it, and now appears on it as celebrities themselves.

At 84, Big B continues to anchor the show with the same energy, which is exactly what both Bharti and Haarsh highlighted.

The Bottom Line

From watching KBC as fans to wishing its host on the show itself, Bharti and Haarsh’s tribute reflects how Amitabh Bachchan has become part of several generations’ lives.
