Priya Ahuja Pen Birthday Note for Grandson Vayu

"You have brought so much happiness into our lives, and watching you grow into the sweetest, brightest little boy has been one of our greatest joys. Ahuja added her blessings for her grandson's future, writing, "You may be little, but you have made the biggest place in our hearts. Lots and lots of love, hugs, and blessings always and forever."

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, who married in an intimate Mumbai ceremony in May 2018, welcomed Vayu on August 20, 2022. The couple welcomed their second son, Rudralokh, in March 2026.

Throughout Vayu's early years, the London- and Mumbai-based couple has maintained a protective approach to their children's privacy, selectively sharing glimpses of their home life while keeping their sons' faces largely shielded from public digital platforms.

The birthday celebration comes as Kapoor prepares to resume public engagements following a period focused on her family. Attending a luxury jewelry event in Mumbai on Wednesday evening, the actor shared on social media that she was gradually stepping out from her "postpartum sabbatical."

Since making her feature film debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2007 romance Saawariya, Kapoor has built a notable career in mainstream Hindi cinema, starring in critically acclaimed and commercially successful projects such as Delhi-6, Aisha, Raanjhanaa, Khoobsurat, Veere Di Wedding, and the 2016 biographical drama Neerja, which earned her a National Film Award.
