TN Issues SOP for Breakfast Scheme Expansion to Classes 6-8
Tamil Nadu Women Development Corporation issues SOP for extending Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Breakfast Scheme to Classes 6-8 students.
Chennai, August 17 — The Tamil Nadu Women Development Corporation has issued a standard operating procedure for extending the Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Breakfast Scheme to students of Classes 6 to 8 in government and aided schools across the state.
Under the guidelines, breakfast will be prepared and served by selected members of self-help groups associated with the State Rural Livelihoods Mission. Applicants should have at least three years of experience in an SHG, live in the same village or town panchayat where the school is located and possess basic cooking skills. Their children should also be studying in the school concerned.
